Hi! First and foremost, look high and low for THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MISS JANE PITTMAN. It's a tour de force for Ms. Tyson, who, as the title character, ages from about 20 to 110. Other notable performances include A WOMAN CALLED MOSES [a Harriet Tubman biopic], THE MARVA COLLINS STORY, BUSTIN' LOOSE [a rare excursion for her into comedy opposite Richard Pryor (!)], THE RIVER NIGER [opposite James Earl Jones], and, of course, her magnificent, Oscar-nominated turn in SOUNDER.
Helga, I'm not mad at you; I'm mad at the dirt.
