The first movie I saw her in was "Bustin Loose" and I had a big crush on her from that.She looked way younger than she actually was when she did that movie.She has always looked great for her age!!

im not dissin her at all!! i mean i never seen anyone last this long! her actin iz incredible. 70 sumthin years old, african american, known around the universe! i5b4m sorry if u took my topic the wrong way i apologize. im supportin her and everything u know goin to see her movies. i waz just kinda suprised. my grandmother iz 63 by the way and she is very healthy. just like Cicely Tyson she looks younger than age.

Very well said but unfortunatly you do not speak for all youth. Most have little or no respect at all for Miss Tyson or other great actors of that generation.

I must speak for the youth by saying, I'm 19 and I have a great deal of respect for actors like Cicely Tyson because I know the signifcance of her work. There are just a lot of stupid people who don't understand the history of Hollywood and the struggles of many female actors. Maybe they will understand some day, until then let them continue to be ignorant of the world.
