I remember her from the pilot episode from Cop Rock and that she was the one bright spot in a rather odd show. She plays a crack addict who sells her baby for dope money and she sings a lullaby as the "buyers" leave with her baby. A very powerful scene. She should have gotten and Emmy nomination for that alone.

It's there again. I loved Cop Rock and wish it would come out on DVD. This scene is the most memorable, and I can never see Wilhoite without thinking about it. Absolutely heart-wrenching. I wish people hadn't said what the scene involves, as it's not obvious until the last few seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8ufaE_18VU

I checked out Youtube and found the posting where she sings "The Sandman's Coming Soon" has been removed.
Does anyone have a copy? It was fantastic! She sang with such emotion in that scene.

Wow, and I thought I was probably one of the only people out there who remembers that scene I definitely wasn't a 'regular viewer', so I can't really comment on the rest of the cast, but the scenes involving Wilhoite seemed to have more 'emotional authenticity' (for lack of a better word) than the rest of the show.
This is a simple little scene, but man, her
voice
! I remember being especially moved by it and watching it more than a few times
It's really a crime (no Cop Rock pun intended:) that she's not more well-known

I LOVED HER ON COP ROCK!!! Yes, it was an odd show to say the least but Kathleen was amazing! I love her voiceman, she has golden pipes. She has one of the best voices that I have ever heard. I like her a lot and I hope to see her acting as well as singing again!
