I love Kathleen. I know I would love to be friends with her. Not only is she an amazing actress, I think she is absolutely beautiful, she is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
When her album, 'Pitch Like A Girl' came out, she did several free mini concerts in different coffee shops in MN. I got to go to one I had only ever heard ONE of her songs, but somehow I was singing along with her on every song she played. It was an out of this world experience. When she left I made sure I was in the position to actually meet her. She signed a dollar bill that I had, (I still have it) She told me that she was glad I was in the audience because when she was nervous she would look at me and I helped her through the performance. Her comments to me touched me deeply and it will be an experience I will never forget.
I still love her music, I think it is timeless, and she will always have a very special place in my heart I admire her above all other actors in Hollywood today She is lovely, talented and sweetly humble
Love her!!!

The people of Family Guy couldn't have picked a better person that Kathleen Wilhoite to play the role of Chris' first girlfriend, Sam, in the episode "To Love And Die In Dixie". Seth Macfarlane ought to hire her back to voice over the role of Sam once more just to see if Chris still remembers her. I might be the only Family Guy fanatic who thinks about this but I think that Chris and Sam make a sweet and sexy couple even if she's from the Deep South and Chris from New England. It's too bad there's no way of knowing if Chris still writes to Sam and that's she's learned to read. In other words, it's amazing how Kathleen made the voice of Sam sound at first like a boy but then reveals herself to be a sexy Southern Belle. In fact, I think when it's revealed the second that Sam is a girl, it almost looks as if she was dressed up like Honey Ryder in Dr. No. Forgive me if this may be a bit off topic, but the point is that Wilhoite did a great job on that episode of Family Guy and that IS in fact, the first time I ever heard of Kathleen.

She's great at being a character actress. She plays a lot of the same types of roles (from what I've seen), but she's good at them and I generally like all of her characters. Liz Danes from Gilmore Girls is my favorite. I was excited that she was on Charmed for one episode in season 7.
Paige: Besides, everybody is odd in San Francisco. That's why we fit in so well!
From "Charmed"

Yes, she is a really great actress. I can't believe she wasn't even nominated for an Emmy for her role as Chloe Lewis on ER. The varied personas she displays are phenomenal.
Never do anything halfway !

I just watched "Murphy's Law" also. It was a run-of-the-mill thriller, but I loved the theme song so I hit "freeze" during the credits. I was pleasantly surprised to learn Kathleen co-wrote and performed the theme song.
What a mouth on her during that film! What a voice on her afterward!

The first time I noticed her was in the Charles Bronson B-movie Murphy's Law. Then when the credits rolled, she is performing the song. I knew she would go somewhere after seeing that.

I absolutely agree; after seeing her in 24 I found myself noticing her everywhere. Talented and curiously unpublicised actress.
