Yeah i agree, before freaks and geeks i had only seen him in back to the future and that role sorta biased me towards him as a bad guy but seeing him do other stuff you slowly realise he has other ranges in acting.

He was a jerky gym teacher, but he had moments where you could see the man he was behind the teacher front. In case you haven't seen it yet, there's a great twist to the story line, and if the show had gone onto other seasons I think it would have been really fun to watch it unravel further. It's my favorite TV series by far (unless I tie it with Square Pegs, another one season high school misfit show).
