I wouldn't presume to guess what nationality she is but I'm assuming she knows how to pronounce her last name. Here's a video on YouTube from her MTV hosting days.she says her name at the beginning as all good hosts do

LOL Totally! Wrong! I am German born and raised and moved to the US for University at age 17 (I'm now married to a fellow MD we met in med school)its pronounced the same way Hitler was so instead of Fuhrer aka for you Yank few-rah with a bit of a rolling R in Rah. So her name is pronounced Vuw (live view) rah so View-rah NOT Vorehhrrr or whatever that was LOL. Tho this name does not sound German to me. Unless its for a different part of Germany as we have like the US different accents etc. So it could even be Wur-rer how knows? But not Vor as there is NO O in her name mister.

First name rhymes with Ferrari (according to the commentary track for Thinner).
Last name: I've seen the "u" in her name with an umlaut over it on occasion, but I've always heard her name pronounced "whirrer."

It's a tongue-twister, ain't it? Hell, just spell it, W - U - H - R - E - R.
