I don't know. I've seen Carrell and Carrey and while I think they are both excellent at what they do, Steve Zahn just pulls at my heart strings. He can be so amazingly funny, laugh out loud ridiculously funny but there's something else, an edge, a life. There's something in his eyes that make what he does more than what I see in anyone else's and it tends to make what the other comedic actors do over the topcaricatures. He's so empathetic. So, best comedic actor of our time, for me, yes, absolutely. I realize it's subjective but then any name you could come up with would be arguable. Why not Steve? His talent is phenomenal.

Carrey is way beyond anything Carrell has ever done and even more so than Steve Zahn who have yet to appear in a good movie.

there are so many other great comedy actors out there (Carrell and Carrey come to mind) but the difference is that he (like Carrey) is also capable of pulling of drama roles, and he does so very well. Great actor and he deserves way more credit.

Also watch A Perfect Getaway. Great movie.
