Too bad! She had a great story arc. I'm surprised she never got any recognition awardwise for her portrayal of Nicole Wallace. She kept you wanting more than you got. It's like the show declined once that storyline ended.

Goren's mentor killed her off screen and sent Goren her heart.

The last season the show barely came back.
They had big time budget cuts aparantly.

Even though the DNA in the heart matched hers, I'm also skeptical that she's really gone. I think it's all a part of an elaborate scam to drive Bobby further into his mental decline. I gotta believe she'll be back, at least as a ghost to haunt him!

Well.. you're in luck if you watched last night's season finale episode. She made her fifth appearance and apparently they had her character killed off, which I'm not buying.

I'm dying to see her return as Nicole Wallace. It's been three years now, and I feel an appearance is necessary. I love watching Goren and Nicole pushing each other's buttons!

I think she is one of the best guests who appeared on the show, awesome character and her and bobby needs to make out lol.

The reference was only passive (the main bad-guy of the episode was studying female serial killers. This one's an Australian case study, uh, Nicole Wallace), so I doubt that it was foreshadowing anything.
