I love Claire Bloom and think she is still so beautiful and a wonderful actress.
I have to say that the character of Margaret Ellingham is the worst mother I have ever seen in movies or tv.
She's inhumanly cold, incapable of love, even for herself. Horrible woman. And I don't think anyone could play her as well as Ms. Bloom.
I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace.
