Ever been stuck in a waiting room (doctor's or dentist's office, auto repair place, etc.) and had to sit for a long time with nothing to read so as to occupy your mind with? If you could prepare ahead of time for such an experience, what reading material would you take with you to have handy for long waits?

Yes. I thought the series was pretty good. Great casting. They changed it from the source material, which was sad, but that seems to happen quite often.

I don't do my phone either. I rarely have it with me. I bring a paperback book with me for just such occasions. I much prefer real books to anything with a screen.
I carry a copy of Good Omens, a book I've read easily over a dozen times if not more, but it's very catchy. I'm on my 4th copy of the book because I've worn the others to pieces!
I was thinking some sort of omnibus book with short stories, jokes, puzzles, riddles, cartoons, math problems, famous quotes, trivia **** etc. would be a cool thing to have handy, lol.
