I used your link, the price says less than 10 pounds. Guess the price has come down, maybe they reissued it, but before the reissue came out it was difficult to find or something. So the "rarity" of it drove the price up, perhaps.
Amazon.com used to be the place you could go for movies, music & video games at cheaper prices than anywhere else. Ever since amazon added the "collectible" category some years ago, some sellers have been slapping utterly ridiculous prices on things, & it just continues to get worse. Like a copy of Super Mario Bros. going for $2000.00. I understand the need for the "collectible" category, as some items are old but unused, like new, but it's turned amazon into something it was created to go against. Instead of someplace to get a bargain, it's turning into an online auction house with the highest prices in existence.

i couldn't be bothered waiting for it to be back in stock so i found a like new copy on ebay for less than ten pounds and i hope all those people selling them on amazon for like 99 pounds dont sell a single copy i mean you can get them from play.com for 15 pounds new

the price has gone up on play also but not as much as amazon but i have ordered it from another site but they are out of stock they say it is on special order but there supplier has not given them a date , i have been told this verry same thing in the past and it normally means that the item has seast production which sucks
so i guess the Sonny Chiba Collection: Volume 1 and 2 are now rare collectors items wich sucks
