Why is he credited? That's a good question. I submitted a correction for this MISTAKE not once, not twice, but 3 times and it's still up there. I even went so far as to find a transcript for the episode they claim had Sonny Chiba and it matches what's being said by George Cheung in that youtube clip.

And they still haven't changed it.
George Cheung played Zen Master Hattori Hanzo in Episode #1.9729 which is correctly identified in IMDB

and also in Episode #1.9895, which is still INCORRECTLY credited to Sonny Chiba. The character name no doubt came from "Kill Bill", but Sonny Chiba didn't play the role in "Days of Our Lives". George Cheung did.
