What's your favorite moment in the street fighter trilogy? For me, the best momentnot only in SF, but possibly in any kung fu movieis in Last Revenge, when he punches one guy at least 50 times in about 7 seconds. No one ever talks about this, which I find surprising, because it seriously is worth the cost of the DVD to see that scene alone. It blew my mind. I had to watch it in slo-mo to try to count the number of punches, and all I was able to determine was that the poor actor getting pummeled just had to stand and convulse. There was no way of even pretending to coordinate action and reaction.
Anyone else seen this? Anyone else got favorite moments?

I like when that brother and sister can't pay him for that jailbreak, and so he just whoops ass!
That was hilarious!

Mine are

The scene that was mentioned by the original poster.

When he hits a guy in the mouth, causing him to spit out all his teeth.

When he castrates the would-be rapised with his bare hands. (I suppose that's just about everyone's favorite)

When he punches a guy so hard it causes him to puke all over himself. (I believe that's the definition of entertainment)

When he does an backflip to escape an armlock.

"That's a load of sukiyaki!"

There is no seven, what you are reading now is just filler.

X-ray punch.
9.Come to think of it, just about every scene in the first 'Street Fighter' is great.
10.The scene in 'Return Of The Street Fighter' when he hits his opponet in the back of the neck causing his eyes to bug out like a pop-up book.
Josie and Johnny forever!

hands down the best moment for me is in the First Street Fighter near the end, when he gets onto the ship. He breaks some guy's arm over and over again while making crazy faces, then pounces off to kill some more.
maniacal!!

How about in Street Fighter 2 where he goes to the school with all the different martial arts guys and stabs one of them in the guts with the barrel of a pistol.
He's so badass he can even stab you with a gun!

If the fight at the end of the first Street Fighter isn't the defining Sonny Chiba moment, then I don't know what it. The opening scene in the prison cell and the last fight sequence are truly amazing.

The line "That's Terry Sugori!", when he looks below deck on the boat just leading up to the ultimate combo sequence is absolute gold. I laugh so hard every time I see this part. The slow motion shot of the guy vomiting, including a chunk of carrot, near the end of the first one is also worth a mention.

I only have the first two movies on DVD. The best moment came at the end of the original The Street Fighter where Chiba gets stabbed, and is down on the ground, and is about to be killed by the final blow. When the guy goes to throw the punch to kill Chiba, Chiba reaches up and grabs his throat and rips it out.
It might have been the best ending to any movie I have seen. It was unexpected and it was raw.

I agree whenever he gets beaten a little bit and all of a sudden that music starts playing and he then turns into the ultimate badass simply awesome.

Best bit is when he gets smashed by the fat karate master in his training school in the first movie then he remembers his dad dying. music kicks in. chiba charges up and kicks ass. legend!!
And of course the X-ray punch. cannot be messed with!
Harry Callahan:

I'd say any momment when he's fighting a bunch of goons where he's making those strange facial expressions of his
classic
cheese.
The slow, unchanging progression of time: " ..
" (etcetera)

I also love the scene in the first "Streetfighter" flick when he graphically castrates the would-be black rapist; it's a truly shocking and brutal moment.
