The first time I saw Chiba was in The Street Fighter, a noirish, gory martial arts flick. The X ray punch has been ripped off in other movies. I am glad Quentin Tarantino put him to good use in Kill Bill. Bad B movies in English hurt Chiba's career.
There's a scene in Street Fighter's Last Revenge where he's making love to a sexy Japanese woman with ample breasts! In one scene, he has a mouthful of the woman's breast! Lucky!
Chiba's not only a good actor, he's a talented martial artist, too.
