His dad is "Turkish" , but is actually an Iraqi with some Turkish background as it is not uncommon for Iraqis to be of various ethnic mixes.
His father comes from the Iraqi family: <- Arabic script
pronounced "El Cho-kh-chi"
He has said it in interviews also that his father is from Iraq

half Muslim, biologically speaking
"Biologically speaking?"
Are you mistaking the Muslim faith for an ethnicity?
Please do some research first and consider your reply
carefully.

You must have access to information not available on Mr Chokachi's IMDb bio page. Is there anything you care to share as the basis for your post?
If your information is correct,
what conclusions are you trying to draw
from it? Anything that
doesn't
make you sound like a bigot? You
do
remember he was born in the United States, don't you?
Is the language and origin of his surname supposed to define
him
, somehow? (Mine doesn't define
me
, it's far and away too many generations removed from its country-of-origin.)
