<p dir="auto">I always assumed it was pronounced with an an accent on the second syllable: Cho-KA-chi. One time I saw him on TV, and he started talking by saying,"Hi, this is David CHO-ka-chi I was surpised to hear him accent the first syllable. Well, I guess he knows how to pronounce his own name. <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f642.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--slightly_smiling_face" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":)" alt="🙂" /></p>
