Oops! How could I have forgotten to also mention the late, great Claude Rains, the renowned film and stage actor, who was said to possess an eloquent speaking voice, which sounded like a fine combination of "honey and gravel"?
I believe that Mr. Rains was one of Bette Davis' favorite leading men. He also "stole" the film, "Casablanca," from both Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, imo.

I agree that Ms. Eggar is both an extremely talented and beautiful actress. Great Britain has produced many wonderful (not to mention stunning) actresss, such as Ms. Eggar, Dame Diana Rigg, Jenny Aguter, Carol Drinkwater, and Dame Helen Mirren.
