<p dir="auto">I happened to catch "The Collector" recently after not having seen it in many years.  Ms. Eggar was superb, but Terence Stamp was incredibly creepy and evil.<br />
(It's too bad that he did not try to kidnap Mrs. Emma Peel, and then she would have "disabused" him of his decidedly ungentlemanly behavior, very quickly!!!)</p>

<p dir="auto">As I've posted elsewhere, in 1970 she gave acclaimed performances in 3 off beat films: The Walking Stick(Eric Till), The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun(Anatole Litvak), and The Molly Maguires(Martin Ritt).</p>
