I happened to catch "The Collector" recently after not having seen it in many years. Ms. Eggar was superb, but Terence Stamp was incredibly creepy and evil.
(It's too bad that he did not try to kidnap Mrs. Emma Peel, and then she would have "disabused" him of his decidedly ungentlemanly behavior, very quickly!!!)

As I've posted elsewhere, in 1970 she gave acclaimed performances in 3 off beat films: The Walking Stick(Eric Till), The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun(Anatole Litvak), and The Molly Maguires(Martin Ritt).
