No biography - wonder why?
She has made a list of movies as long as your arm - many in leading roles - what's with IMDB not giving some real background?

I'm afraid i don't know how either - I keep seeing implications that one can - but don't see any 'methods' - maybe someone else will chip in here - in any case it's not my place to add re SE as it is you who has the info. I would only add another layer of uncertain documentation.

Here's the rundown:
She was married from 1964-1971. The marriage produced 2 kids- a son and a daugther who are both now in the business. (He's a producer, she's an actress.)
Eggar currently lives in Southern Carlifornia, when she has lived since the late 60s.
She was nominated for an Oscar for "The Collector", and won a Golden Globe for it.
Eggar became friends with Joan Collins when they costarred in an episode of "Starsky and Hutch" in 1977. (Both women were English actresses living in Los Angeles.) Eggar told Collins that when an actress is between jobs, they can collect unemployment. Collins said that when she went down to the unemployment office, a lot of people recognized her from an episode of "Police Woman". She was embarressed so she just left. (Joan has told this story on talk shows many times.)
