so apparently he's going to play him in a movie. this is the biggest casting mistake in movie history. i know ferrell is a great actor but he's not that great of an actor it would take a miracle for him to justifiably and realistically play john madden.
for him to pull this off i just can't imagine him pulling this off bc those are completely different worlds of people: join madden and will ferrell's usual shtick.
and playing harry carey is completely different than playing john madden bc madden is a completely different person than carey.
when it tin of ferrell i think of a overacting not real person actor. everything he does is overplayed and way out of what a real person is. so this is inexcusable to disrespect john madden by doing this.
now who they should have casted is the always perfect impersonator frank caliendo. he did the best john madden impression of all time.
it is such a mystery why caliendo never made it in movies when you have so many cheap untalented hack comedians in movies all the time nowadays it really is a mystery caliendo never made it in movies. he is one of the most talented comedians of all time.
