But really? Making a movie which humiliates a person with such a Horrible Disease is absolutely deplorable. The idea of the Reagan movie is beyond tasteless. Ferrell should be ashamed of himself since he's both set to star and produce this . Estimates are that his net worth is >$100M, do you really need the money that badly?
This Reagan project is not a political comedy it's a sham. Anyone who has had a family member, a friend, worked with or even knows someone who has suffered with Alzheimer's or Dementia, knows it's heart wrenching. I hope the controversy over the project will not help to publicize / market.

He has no moral compass and Hollywood is part of it. Very Sad! To find humor in someone else's pain is horrible . Will Ferrell and Hollywood need to hang their heads in shame.

Agree. Wonder what Hollywood and the PC crowd would think of comedy movie about gays trying to get married or transgenders getting beat up trying to use a bathroom

I hope that just the announcement of this project will get so much backlash that the film ends up not being made. This is going beyond a political satire. Regardless of whether one liked or didn't like Reagan as a President I think just about everyone agrees that there isn't anything funny about a person suffering from Alzheimer's.
