I bought the DVD of the 1962 film "Testament of Dr. Mabuse"and it was GREAT!!!! Has a lot going for it!!! I've already watched it a dozen times!!! Fast moving, great atmosphere-!!!! And Gert Frobe is fantastic as Inspector Lohmann!!!

1,000 Eyes of Dr Mabuse was 1960, directed by Fritz Lang. The 1962 film is Testament of Dr. Mabuse, directed by Werner Klinger; and is a remake of the Lang original. It was also known as The Terror of the Mad Doctor and The Terror of Dr. Mabuse. Gert Frobe does play Inspector Lohmann in that film, as well as in the previous Return of Dr. Mabuse.

The Testament of Dr. Mabuse was made in 1933. The 1962 one is 1000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse. Inspector Lohmann in Testament of Dr. Mabuse was played by Otto Wernicke.
