well said my friend.

I had halfway wondered if geocities was still around anywhere, but never actually tried 5b4to find out. I guess your comment tells the story
Back "in the day" it might have been considered a predecessor to the social network sites, or maybe it actually was one when a high speed computer modem was 9600 Baud, way better than 2400 Baud.
(Compare that to a 3-15MB cable or fiber "typical connection" these days, without the dial-up modem tones The last time I remember seeing a current movie with a dial-up was a Sandra Bullock movie,
THE PROPOSAL
).
In case the 'audience' is not aware of this, IMDB itself nearly died off two or more times. If I have not fallen too far behind in current events, AMAZON is operating IMDB now, and in fact rescued it from digital oblivion when it became its custodian/benefactor.
Since AMAZON sold lots of movies back then, it was a very nice fit with all the user reviews and discussion threads. It did come with a price, which technology improvements have greatly reduced since then (cheaper disk storage, cheaper bandwidth costs, cheaper server costs, and greatly improved equipment reliability in particular).
It used to be (still is?) something of a half-joke that many women typically went to college to get a "MRS", and more than a few people seem to have gone that route in various entertainment venues as well. And to be "equal opportunity", consider "Mr. Rogers", (namely Tom Cruise when he married Mimi Rogers, and his care111cer slumped).
HOWEVER
, actress Ann Hathaway has been making the round of talk shows commenting/complaining that she is not getting roles/projects like she did when she was younger. She does add that she is not young enough to get the 'fresh face' roles, and is not yet old enough to get the mother/aunt/grandmother roles either.
When you come to the heart of the matter though, an acting career is generally just a series of individual contract jobs strung together, and when your phone stops ringing, you know it is over.
Maybe Pamela's phone stopped ringing, or had slowed down, or she had gotten tired of the stress of getting the next project and retired from acting. Actress Amy Irving pretty much "ghosted" too when she got married, and there are many others, including men like the first 'Darren' in BEWITCHED, (Dick York), and he was found in bad health, and living in poverty, by one of the entertainment shows in a "whatever happened to" show.
I would also have loved to have seen Pamela in more roles as well.
In fact, I came to IMDB after having seen her one episode of FANTASY ISLAND the other day, just to see if she had any more current work sigh
Did she have competition/similarity to other actresses I wonder, (like Maren Jensen in particular (as 'Athena' of Battlestar Galactica)), and lost her popular appeal?

she fell off thirty years ago, quite suddenly. but what a stunner she was

From wiki:
Pamela Hensley reemerged in the literary world in 2004 with the publication of a small cookbook called The Jewish-Sicilian Cookbook authored under the name Pamela Hensley Vincent. She has been married to noted television executive producer, E. Duke Vincent, since the early 1980s.
I loved her too
Ardala sigh
Edit: the book =>

I am also wondering what happened to her. According to this site her last acting role was in 1984.
