Yah, he is busy.
This Time it will be Horror Movies!
Robert Eggers collaborated with screenwriter Sjón and lead actor Alexander Skarsgård on
"The Northman"
.
Sjón and Skarsgård now team up again for the
"The Wolf will tear your immaculate Hands"
.
Alexander Skarsgård as "The Northman" (2022)
….
….
Alexander Skarsgård will take on the lead role in the gothic horror with the evocative title
"The Wolf will tear your immaculate Hands"
by Icelandic poet Sjón, who co-wrote the script for
"The Northman"
with Eggers and is also involved in Eggers new movie
"Werwulf"
.
"The Wolf will tear your immaculate Hands"
Set in the 1880s in the northwestern USA, Alexander Skarsgård stars as a British planter who lost his wife and hires a Native American woman (Darla Contois) trained in a Christian mission, to govern his two daughters (Bronte Carmichael, Lily La Torre). The older of the two daughters is supposed to be prepared for an arranged marriage, but a power awakens within her that threatens to destroy everything she was taught. This is likely a werewolf movie too, as the title suggests. Furthermore, werewolves are often used as a metaphor for puberty and adolescence.
Sjón collaborates with director Nathalie Álvarez Mesén. The filmmaker with roots in Sweden and Costa Rica made her feature film debut with the drama
"Clara Sola"
, which garnered considerable critical acclaim (91% on Rotten Tomatoes).
"The Wolf will tear your immaculate Hands"
is her second directorial effort and her first movie shot in English.
The cast also includes Darla Contois ("Little Bird"), Bronte Carmichael ("Star Wars: Andor"), Lily La Torre ("Run Rabbit Run"), Forrest Goodluck ("The Revenant") and Pernilla August ("Star Wars: Episode I").
….
….
“The Wolf will tear your immaculate Hands”
is currently filmed and scheduled to be completed in May 2026.

I think Duncan Jones said on Twitter that Mute finishes filming mid December.
I wonder if The Aftermath will film before The Kill Team.
