So sad to hear of Ms. Francis's passing. I always thought her acting was underrated and wished she'd continued starring in top movies longer.
I sent her a fan letter and get well card when I first heard of her diagnosis a few years ago. I had just gone thru cancer treatments myself, and wished her well and thanked her for her groundbreaking role in Honey West and other performances. She wrote me back, a sweet, generous and uplifting note that was thoughtful and positive. Her website had positive writings, showing someone who had continued to evolve positively as a person and who was active in trying to make the world a better place.
Admired her as an actress, but grew to appreciate her humanity and loving nature. She will be missed and remembered by a lot of people.

I met her a few times in the late 90's and yes she was nioe, positive, smart and down to earth. I loved what she wrote on her website. She had a new newsletter each month until she got too sick to write.
