<p dir="auto">i realize that Fury Road was a hit and that is why he's now in the cat bird's seat for the sequels and prequels…<br />
but it's really a shock that the original director from decades ago was given the chance to direct the remake in the first place, and then to suddenly have so much power…<br />
especially having dropped off the face of the earth after doing things like Babe: Pig in the City and the Happy Feet films<br />
AND the fact he killed the orig MM franchise with Theond Blunderdome<br />
