Hi Valeyard-2, I'm from the future, come back to tell you in twelve short years from now Miller will finally complete the film, and it's awesome. Well worth the decade + you'll have to wait to see it. Of course Mel will be too old for the part by then, so the guy who played Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis is now Max. The future is a scary place but it all works out.

They've had the title locked down for a long time, eh? Good on everyone involved for never giving up on this story. We got a huge payoff. Respect.

It's alive and well. George Miller says it's two films away from being made. Happy Feet is out in theaters now and just got overtaken by Mad Max himself, Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.
