I know Louis Feinberg was b68Larry's actual birth name, but Michael Fleming in his 1999 book about the Stooges claims that Lawrence was his birth name. Leslie Nielsen, when he hosted the shorts on AMC in 2000-01 also said that it was Lawrence. Even though "Larry" is generally short for Lawrence, it is not the case with Mr. Fine.
