He was worth the wait.

Saw Gordon Lightfoot last night (July 24, 2013) at Wolf Trap, in Virginia. He was very frail looking, gave a great show. Would definitely go see him again.

It is so good to hear someone say nice things about Gord. I saw him Aug. 19 in Grand Junction, CO in this great old theatre. My husband, who has to be about the biggest Gordon Lightfoot fan in the world, was almost in tears. Not tears of joy but sadness for how thin he was and how weak his voice was. We have both seen him many times over many, many years. I know he has been ill and he is 68 years old for crying out loud. I totally enjoyed him and was just glad that he feels like he still wants to entertain and make his music. Don't miss the opportunity. He may not do many more tours.

Just saw him last night in Ft. Worth, TX. Absolutely fantastic show. He played all the songs you wanted to hear plus some of his newer material. I've been listening to his music practically my entire life but had never seen him perform live. Definately worth the wait.

Glad you finally got to see him. He is such an amazing man. My first concert was Lightfoot, but I was pretty little, and I haven't seen him since. I got tickets to see him in August, though, and I'm really really excited!!!
