What song did she want as the first single? I bet it was "come on over" I think GIAB was a good choice for a first single her vocals was just right in the song.

I was going into the 7th grade when GIAB came out. I know Christina wanted something more vocally challenging as her first single, but the label was right to put Genie out first. It has a summery vibe to it.
