Stockholm syndrome

I love all dogs, even the big misunderstood ones that have lots of energy.
But us humans need to be considerate for their wellbeing.
The amount of people I've seen trying to take some big ol' XL Bully types into family cafes on a Sunday afternoon and then throw a tantrum when they don't get to by the staff there is shocking.
The dogs pick up on all the energies and start to become dangerous just because of the uncertainty around them.
It will be the dog that is punished for acting out in a perfectly understandable dog way for a situation which is ill fitted to them.
The sentiment is nice though, and that's what this thread is about

Okay. I didn't see it that way as the dog was being held on a leash and seemed very focused on the human they were greeting.

Big excited dog, busy terminal with an uncertain level of security at any given moment, people making transfers in a rush, fur, someone's brought their cat…it's a pretty non-exhaustive list
