In a world where girls and women are constantly told how to look and be I personally find Tyra a breath of fresh air. I have watched ANTM for years with my daughter as she has grown up. Modelling is where you have to be a blank canvas for agencies to shape you but the real world is different where women have to find their own style and feet.
Tyra doesn't pigeon hole the way girls have to be. She explores everything , is still learning and tries to depart information she finds useful onto others. She's not a diva with her head up her backside and doesn't expect everyone to worship her. She's real.
As a mother myself , I think her mum should be proud and indeed Tyra for making her mark in a very complicated , male industry. Newsflash : Girls can like other girls without wanting something back or feeling the need to bitch .
I think even ten minutes in her company would be more valuable than most others in the same industry. She wants to make a change and I can't help but applaud that. Haters are always going to hate and tear others apart but it shows more about them NOT able to be accepting of others than anything else.
Love you Tyra. Keep your head high as there are people who genuinely can see good in this world instead of doom,gloom and bitter at others success.
