Oh he definitely does. When a child has a tantrum you give them a time-out and ignore their behaviour, what you don't do is give them a million reasons why having a tantrum is justified, tell them that it's everyone else's fault and encourage them to carry on for hours.
I do think she knows that he's bad for her when she's feeling more rational. She also has better relationships with other posters when he is not in her life.
