^^, this. This also goes for a lot of things that are advertised to women. I don't think women realize how basic most guys appetites are. Women try so hard and spend so much money and time looking preety because other women and the fashion industry tells them to. If you ask most guys esp any of my friends, they will tell you most women look very pretty just the way they are, and in many cases they look better w/o all this artificial beep

Fashion trends come and go. A few decades ago, curvy women were seen as the ideal body type for models - this was the case in the West as well.
But Colombian women are very curvy in general so it's possible that the waif trend hasn't spread there.

Sofia Vergara has a very desirable shape for an Hispanic woman. You yourself may have been conditioned to expect models to be toothpick thin with no breasts. Nevertheless, that's not what Colombian men desire. Ms Vergara's hourglass figure is the preference of many South American gentlemen.
