Yep, I agree. I'm sure she's very nice but does her body of work merit a star on the walk of fame? No, no really

Would Hitchcock or Kubrick cast her? There for not of HOF. She's super hot, but no body of grade "A" work.

I would not have stated it so bluntly but I can not say I disagree with you. I used to follow all the streamed Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies on the Walk of Fame website and watch any clips on YouTube but so far this year I have not watched any of the new inductees. It has become a joke.

It's not an "honor" to get a Star, but a VANITY PLATE purchase. Outside of her home country, her contribution to America & the world is 6 seasons on an ensemble show & now an embarrassing DUD of a female buddy comedy. Then again, I hear that doughy goon Vince Vaughn got foot/hand prints outside of the Chinese Theater, so the gold has lost its luster there, too.

I haven't seen her contribute ANYTHING to hollywood that would make her worty of a star.
This just shows exactly how rotten hollywood has become when they put a nobody like her on the same street as epic names.

Hate to break it to you, but you're not the Gatekeeper of Hollywood Contributions. The only thing you're a gatekeeper of is your level of beep and you're failing at that.

It amuses me that so many of you are stupid enough to think those stars mean anything. They don't now, and they haven't for a very long time. So all things considered (its state of worthlessness), she is easily worthy.

The criteria for qualifying is astonishingly low:
Professional achievement (which is apparently subjective), five years experience in the field for which they are nominated, a history of community service or "charitable contributions", and of course most importantly , paying the $30,000 fee.
With those used as the criteria it seems almost anyone can get a star on the Walk of Fame.

As accurately mentioned above, this accomplishment long ago became something of a punchline in Hollywood. I'm talking about the widely understood belief that a HWOF star is practically purchasable in recent decades, and long ago surrendered much of its meaning and worth. Some say it's politically driven, and has more to do with an agent's maneuvering than a star's body of work.

                    Sad, but inevitable, I suppose.

Howard Stern used to talk about being offered a star countless times and turning it downYOU pay for it.
Don't get me wrong, I like Howie Mandel. But really is he even a top 25 comedian..in any year?
His movie career got him one?
                      His ensamble judging?
I'm betting at some point Melissa Rivers will have one.

Melissa McCarthy has one and I'm sure James Gandolfini doesn't, enough said.
