Nahh, I don't see a resemblance to River, but I do notice somewhat of a likeness to Johnny Depp. Not quite as cute, but he (Watson) shares a similar look and 'attitude'. Well, that's my opinion, anyway.

OMG I was just thinking about that today and telling my sister. She doesn't think so, but I think when he smiles he looks so much like him.

He looks a bit like River, sometimes he has a similiar expression. But I still think that River was way better

I see only a vague similarity between Barry Watson and River Phoenix. I just noticed a similarity between Barry and Timothy Olyphant, though.

No, I'm not kidding you. Barry may not have the level of "star quality" that River had, but, based on looks alone, I think Barry is the better-looking of the two.

Yeah, the reason I became interested in Barry was because I noticed his resemblance to River.
You people that keep saying "River was so much better looking and better at acting" 2000need to grow up. Nobody is asking you who you LIKE betterwe are just discussing that WE think they look similar.

i just came on here to write the exact same thing, that he looks so much like river. river is of course, like a god to me and no one could ever be as good as him, but everytime i see barry watson i'm always like " whoa !" the eyes are really similar.
