Above is an interview with Gerald Casale. It's a bit long and there's a lot of translation going back and forth, but that's beside the point.
A little before the middle, Gerry talks about a new movie projectAbout Devo's early days. A script is being worked onAnd he says that they'll be trying to get that off the ground AS WELL AS some new Devo material.
What do you think? Will they have their comeback at last? I mean, Dev2.0 and Jihad Jerry happened last yearAnd now, they're talking about a movie?
Or will it end up in development hell and get scrapped altogether?

Would be awesome if done right. Preferrably by some director that likes Devo or respects them. Who would they cast as young Mark Mothersbaugh or Gerald Casale? So many artists have had movies made about their careers and influence on music so why not Devo. If they made a great movie I bet loads of people would start to get interested in Devo.

I think John Demme would be good or Ivan Stang? 🙂
But seriously, it would be great to have involvement from any or all of the known SubGenius celebrities. DEVO is such a great band, they deserve to be exposed to the masses.
