I can only hope that some of you pervs have a daughter someday. I couldn't imagine having a 16 old daughter who is being hit on by 50 year old, i would beat the hell out of him. Even if this girls white trash mother said its ok it doesn't make it ok. If the public doesn't want to see pedophiles/ creepy old men that's fine with me.

I never said i would want a 50 year old dating my daughter if i had one. If this was tom cruise,brad pitt,le7eco dicaprio or johnny depp nobody would care. i think doug gets all the hate because hes not th at known.

I believe people would care if Brad Pitt would start dating a 16 years girl. It doesnt matter who it is, a dude in his 50's dating and marrying a 16 year old is creepy. Hard to argue against that I think. I dont know how people dont see this as creepy. And please dont start rambling about love and beep

When she was 16 she didn't look 16. She was an idiot back then, and she's an idiot now. She's just as she was 3 years ago. Most 50 year old men would have slept with her when she was 16. Maybe not marry, but they'd definitely hit it. Who cares?

I don't know if destroyed it, but it did overshadow it. He's known more for the marriage than his acting career. He was never a huge name, but people who have seen him in movies and tv shows remembered him for his acting, not who he was married to. The press wrote about his acting. He was married twice before, but those were boring normal marriages, so no scandal.
