She's a much better Marta on Arrested Development

I loved Marta's introduction and she was so radiant in the role it was easy to see why both brothers would fight over her, but the actress that replaced herI just didn't see the same magic.

I just finished watching the Key Decisions episode of Arrested Development. Not sure why they replaced Leonor with Patricia Velasquez, she's cute but not as pretty Leonor. Would have been nice to keep Leonor Varela in that role. Would have also been nice to see the show last a few more seasons.

I came here to say the same thing! I just started watching AD on Hulu last night and she was more graceful and believable as a love interest that Michael would pine over.
Her replacement is beautiful and was great as Anck Su Namun in The Mummy, but she's not believable as Marta.
