Hey rafxx,
Can you ask this lovely man does he do house calls and can he materialize in my bed so that I can get some relief from him? I love him and he is so comforting when I look @ him. I love that soothing Miguel Alvarez OZ low voice he uses. It is so comforting and sexy. Tell him that I love him to death and I dream of him every night. -

Thank you, rafxx. You saved me the trouble. I couldn't care less how Kirk's genealogy breaks down, I'm just a big fan. My late husband was a tri-racial rock star and one of the most beautiful men ever to grace this planet. If you do talk to Kirk, please pass along my admiration for his work, which I've been applauding for what m111cust be 20 years now or more.

Just two additions to your fine post:
You said "even if you are from spain you are not white you are still hispanic/latino". Remember, too, that the Moors (northern Africans) ruled southern Spain for centuries, so are Spaniards white?
The other thing is what you said about his reference to "mexican's or other south American's" (BTW, what's with the apostrophes, 16d0Mr. Smartass?), as if they were somehow lower than a "white" Boriqua. Do you know the term "Bamba", like the old song? (It may be before your time.) Anyway, Spanish/Native American people were called "Mestizos", and when the Spanish started bringing in African slaves to replace all the Tainos they had killed in the Caribbean, they mixed with the Mestizos and their children were called "Bambos". This was true from the Mayan and Aztec tribes of Mexico down through most of South America, virtually wiping out the Incas and Amazon tribes, wherever the Europeans thought they'd find gold or jewels.
The progeny of all this tragedy, like all "Golden People", are among the most beautiful people in the world.

Stukach, you might want to do some real research before posting anything as blatantly ignorant as you have here. I have a number of "Nuyoriqueo" friends, and not one of them considers himself/herself "white." Neither do Jimmy Smits, Rosie Perez, the brilliant late Raul Julia, JeLo, nor countless others. Most Puerto Ricans are some of the "Golden People" (mixtures of three races and some of the most beautiful people on this planet). The only famous Puerto Rican I can think of who looks essentially "white" is Benicio Del Toro, and I'm confident that if you asked him he would freely admit to having some African and/or Native American blood. Even Puerto Ricans whose heritage is purely Spanish probably have some Moorish (north African) heritage, considering that the Moors controlled a large portion of Spain for centuries, just as they did Sicily. Your last line, "Puerto Ricans aren't the same as Mexicans or other similar South American people," was particularly offensive. As gross generalizations go, yours is one of the worst I've ever read. Maybe you're just trolling, in which case your purpose would be to offend as many people as possible. If that's the case, you have certainly succeeded.

I didnt know he is part chinese. good thing he looks more boriqua to me. HOTHOTHOT! ILY KIRK! :))
What the hell does this mean? Chinese men aren't attractive? "Good thing for you"? Who cares who you find attractive? -

I am a straight guy; and I find Kirk attractive, and I bet that he is proud of both his Puerto Rican and Chinese heritage and blood. I care what he is, and celebrate that he has DNA from these two special peoples. Some of the world's most beautiful people are of mixed blood from China and Latin America. James Albert Michener in his novel "Hawaii" talked about the upcoming "Golden People", the people of mixed race and heritage. Hawaii is a good example of a "melting pot", many are of part Chinese descent. American Indian natives are said to have Mongoloid blood (Asian).
There are four distinct groups of humanity. Cacasoid, Negroid, Mongoliod and Australoid. As time advances, more and more of us are in fact of mixed heritage and blood; and we can all be proud of this. maybe one day we will all be of a "Golden Race", a blend of our roots. There are few in America that are of a "pure blood" most of us are mixed, whether we admit it or not. It ticks me off when a person claims one race is better than another, we are all human beings.
Kirk is a very good actor, and I like his mixed heritage, and good looks, he exhibits a lot of heart. -

Thank you, Riverlynx, for your intelligent comment. The "Golden People" (tri-racial) are the most beautiful on Earth. My late husband was Afro-American, Mohawk, and Canadian of German and Norwegian descent. On a scale of 1-10, he was a 12. He had skin like the proverbial baby's butt, and facial features encompassing the best of all three races. As a rock bassist with a big-name band, you virtually needed a cattle prod to keep the drooling groupies off him. Many Brazilians, for the same reason, are impossibly beautiful. And check out Keanu Reeves (part Chinese/Polynesian) and Johnny Depp (part Cherokee). Kirk Acevedo not only has the benefit of a Chinese mother and a Puerto Rican father, but a strong resemblance to Humphrey Bogart, who was not handsome but had an undefinable qualit2000y of manliness to go along with all that talent.

Hello, pattyjones you are most welcome; thanks for sharing memories of your special "Golden Man" and for your interesting comments; I am without the words to express the sorrow that I feel for your loss, I bid him to rest-in-peace. Thankfully you have many wonderful memories of him and your special time together.
Getting back to Kirk: The first role that I recall him playing was Miguel Alvarez in OZ; I saw Bogart in him right away, there is a deep harmonic, in my view. I really enjoy seeing him in other roles; such as a Federal Agent, FBI, a good follow to the dark OZ.
I am glad to know that we share a view, a perspective, in regards to the "Golden People", I agree with your examples and a list of other celebrities of their blend would be fun to assemble from memory and the
Ggle
.
I lost my "Golden One(s)" too; I recall so much, (so little), I dream, I remember, I miss
Now, I have Rio,
(Now is fleeting)
Tempus fugit
Warm regards.
riverlynx & RioAre you suggesting that I may be the Dove? I am more of a Raven, don't you think?
