Piranha 3D was excellently executed. Fast paced, great graphics, amazing cameo by Richard Dreyfus "That's a fast fish!" I'm really glad that a modern horror film can be made while pulling no punches and going full gore, keeping 7ecthe dialog moving, paying homage to film making icons, and keeping a good sense of humor.
Well done! I hope you go more the way of Haute Tension and Piranha 3D than Hills and Mirrors. Definitely hang on to this DP.
I'm so sick of 'boo' movies that depend so much on sudden loud music to make you jump. I much prefer the slow disgusting gorefest. It takes much more skill in effects and camera work. Piranha has this in spades.
Looking forward to Mr Aja's next film and I'm sorry I underestimated you before this film came out.
