missing movie?

I remember a movie that I saw as a kid, early sixties, that must have been made mid to late fifties, with Mr. Akins playing a truck driver. I recall that there were two trucks, and they were hauling dangerous rocket fuel over a dirt road, mountain pass, tight deadline, leaking red nitric acid, no brakes, etc. I am sure Claude was in this movie, but I cannot find any reference to it. Does anyone know about this or remember it?

It was probably
Le salaire de la peur (1953)
(Wages of Fear) with Yves Montand not Claude Akins. I remember seeing it.
