I remember "Movin' On" was being shot in DeKalb County, GA at the old Camp Steel Works off North Druid Hills Road. I lived in a surrounding neighborhood and I met him on the location. At that time, they were looking for more atmosphere people to appear in a scene, and he suggested that my friend and I be a part of the scene. I will always remember that moment.

Though It's possible I saw him in some show before it (almost certainly
          The Adventures of Superman
          during the early '70s),
          Movin' On
is the program I think of as the one I first saw Claude Akins. Certainly, it's the one that introduced me to his name. Liked him right from the start.
          No blah, blah, blah!
