I feel like something had to have happened. The three of them were roommates for years. They even traveled together! Plus, Luke has been quoted numerous times in the last decade saying that he'd love to work with Owen and Wes again.

That alone shows there was no falling out. It just reaffirms they haven't found the time or the right project.
Can't stop the signal. -

Firstly, not trying to "be a twist" or be petty (?). I fail to see how me asking a question/speculating about two of my favorite collaborators is either. I'd realized
Luke's absence in Anderson's work and posted on here to see if anyone had heard anything concrete on why they've not worked together in a little over a decade. I'm a huge fan of both, because I'd seen Tenenbaums 3 days after I'd attempted suicide. It's a very personal film to me and was just curious. Sorry or any other implications you may have percieved. They were not my intention. -

This happened to me not long ago at my new job in Pittsburgh on a large scale. No one told me Ben Roethlisberger's brother in law worked in the same accounting firm as myselflet's just say that went the wrong way real quick.

Having casually studied Wes' works, he seems to do a ton of writing with specific actors in mind who would fit.
I'm not sure where Luke might've fit in otherwise since RT.
Life Aquatic as one of the crew? He's too normal.
Fantastic Mr. Fox as an animal? Even Owen had just the one scene.
TGBH maybe should've been invited along; maybe he was & we don't know about it.
