I'm not homophobic or anything, but according to his trivia, his "longtime partner" David died. He was married to the woman who played Marge years ago.

I met him at a convention last month and while talking to him he made mention of a son. Also, he showed up at an after party one night and he was with a lady who appeared to be his wife.

Perhaps it meant partner in another sense. Still, it's kind of odd that it wouldn't have been made clearer.
