Halloween III is a great movie, the first to headline Tom Atkins who gives one of his all ti16d0me best performances as heroic doctor out to save the children of America . This movie has some great Atkins scenes, most notably his chase through the dark streets of Santa Mira, his fight with robot Dick Warlock (going as far as pulling the wires from it's chest) and his struggle at the with Stacey Nelkin at the end.
Fans of Tom who have not yet seen the movie should see it immediately. -

Tom Atkins has always been one of my favorite character actors. Most people seem tot criticize Halloween 3 just because it does not have Michael Myers and has nothing to do with the series. It has some of Tom's best lines and memorable scenes. Atkins was also great in Night of the Creeps, Maniac Cop, Two Evil Eyes, and Lethal Weapon.

nice!
i didn't think anybody has seen this film more than me. its one of my favs.
the soundtrack is really good too
yep, tom atkins is a pimp in almost all his movies and he likes to party.
he hooks up w/jamie lee in the fog and ellie in halloween III.
the best part in the fog is when they are in the bar and they are leaving,
then he kinda tells jamie lee to take the beer w/them!!!

I'm delighted to hear that many other "genuine" horror fans loved this movie as well.Tom Atkins was excellent as Dr. Challis, as were Stacy Nelkin and Dan O'herlihy.
This movie was undeservingly bashed on the "Halloween III:Season of the Witch" message board by so many irate Halloween fans. I thought the gore and acting were top notch and had many scares throughout the movie. Tom Atkins is one of the more underrated Horror/Action stars out there, he always manages to deliver humor to his characters (except for Creepshow, he was still great at being despicable as well). Halloween 3 needs to be retitled and have an identity of it's own so it can be appreciated by a wider variety of unpernickety audiences. -

There should be a sequel to "Halloween 3" and Tom could reprise his role. He would now look for killer dogs that attack children on Halloween, and the movie would be called "Halloween: Season of the Witch's Bitches."

Halloweeen 3 is one of my favorite horror movies. I couldn't stand the other Halloweens, the usual slasher that never dies really is tited. But this one was different. That catchy song. I can imagine McDonald's handing out glasses in their Happy Meals and instructing the kids to watch for something special to happen at a certain time on Tv and they have a chance to win a Playstation 2 or a that new XBOX. Things like that really scare me, because it almost seems like it could happen. But those never dying mad slasher movies never scare me. I think they should of changed the name so people would not ssociated it with the other Halloween movies.
