It's a tradition. I watch "Halloween 3" every year around Halloween. It's awesome and sufficiently bleak. Yeah, uncut is the only way to go with this one.

I just got done watching it. It is a great flick. People make the mistake of comparing it to the other Halloween films. It really stands by itself.

Personally, I think it's the scariest of the series.

"Great film, great soundtrack, and great performance from Tom Atkins."
same here. It's one of my favorite horror movie. 3.something out of 10 is ridiculous.

H3 is a cult classic. Atkins was also definitely responsible for the quality of that film.

There was a really good film screaming to get ouit, trapped in the shambling carcass that was
                          Halloween 3
                          .
It was Nigel Kneale's screenplay, hacked to pieces by director Tommy Lee Wallace (although it's been said that it was at least partly producer Carpenter himself, leaving first-time director Wallace to carry the can).
Watching the film when it first came out, my first wife and i saw definite elements that had to have been Kneale's and watched them come to nothing - or worse, be trivialised by horror cliches.
A freind, the late dark fantasy writer and editor Karl Edward Wagner, once introduced me to the author of the novelisation of the film, who said he'd stuck as closely to Kneale's original script as he could, and i almost wept as he told me what had been there originally and didn't wind up on the screen.
(For those who don't know Kneale's name, i recommend you look up the "Quatermass" films and check them out)

HALLOWEEN III is not only my favorite HALLOWEEN sequel (dead even with the original), but one of my all time favorite movies! Top 25 for sure, and Tom Atkins is the reason why. HALLOWEEN III, NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, THE FOG, MANIAC COP!! The guy's just f'in awesome. Chuck Norris is afraid of no one save one man. And that man's name is TOM ATKINS!

Season of the witch is an original, chessy and creepy horror film (were any of the halloween sequels with michael myers as creepy as this film? No they werent)

I love Halloween 3. It's the only movie of the franchise that leaves the viewer with a real unsettling experience. Let's hope Rob Zombie doesn't make a remake of it.

I agree - although the story is different from the other films in this franchise, that is what makes H3 so unique. And it's a truly scary story as well. And of course Tom Atkins' terrific performance!
