Why'd she disappear from Night Court?

The only excuse I've se5b4en on the net is her character wasn't developing. That hardly seems possible. In her second to last episode (ep. 9) she was the star and kissed judge Stone! So what, they got rid of her rather than deal with the feelings and her faltering relationship with her off-screen fiancee? I really liked Lana.

The first year of the show was very, very stressful (for allot of confidential reasons). I got Bell's Palsy which paralyized my face. They fired me and said whatever was necessary to keep it out of the press. I probably could have fought it but it would have been messy and I needed to just rest. Face was fine within a month. I went right back to work on some films, etc.
Wierd, huh?

It was truly sad that she got fired from Night Court. I remember that classic episode where she kissed Judge Stone. She was on her way to the to be a classic character on the TV landscape. But that was a great episode, and I am glad Night Court is on TV land so everyone can see what an excellent performance she put on.

Yeah, it was me. I was using a friends IMDB pro to try and correct my credits (which is why my user name was different) and saw the message board. People who work in front of the camera are just people and like everyone else, don't want their history to be misunderstood - not really promoting anything but the truth. I left Nightcourt because I had Bell's Palsy from stress. Yes, it's me on the ALEVE commercial. Got a daughter to put through college soon so I'm happy to have the residuals. Just did an episode of Freddie. And of course, people who work in front of the camera are happy to think people regard their work fondly. And am happy to answer your questions. So yes, it's me.
Thanks for your support,

Hi Karen! I loved your character Lana on Night Court. Im sorry you got fired from the show. Charles Robinson wasnt as good as you were. I have that episode recorded on tape (the one where your character Lana Wagner goes berserk from the side effects of her medication and sings out loud.)
Hey, another question, why did Paula Kelly get booted off the show? I liked her character Liz.
