Bobby rules. Jim Beaver is an amazing actor. He totally floored me for the "I could throttle you" speech. I mean, damn, the man can act. He also works really well off Ackles and Padalecki, two other absolutely stunning actors. I've really enjoyed his presence in season 2, and hope he'll pop in for season three. Bobby's a great character.
"Oh, you two are just breaking my heart. Can we go already??"

I have to say he's probalby the only character without the last name Winchester who has come close to being as popular as the Winchesters themselves (Missiouri is probably a close second but we need to see her again to really judge that).

Oh yes! I love Bobby. He's like their dad now that John is gone. To me Bobby feels like more than just a reoccurring charachter. (But of course I watch the show religiously and I get to love every charachter in it )

I wish we would see more of Bobby in S3 (and Ellen too)
And I agree, that scene with Dean at the season finale was one that blew me away. It really made me love Bobby even more. He really cares for those boys.
Jim Beaver nailed that scene! ;D -

Last I heard Ellen was out (she claims the network said they wanted younger recurring female characters)but the more Bobby the better.

Honestly, her and Jo never set very well with me so news that Ellen is apprently out and the girl that played Jo is otherwise engaged is kind of good. However, since I'm reasonably sure Ellen is the Roadhouse snitch and Ash is toast I'm guessing her being gone isn't forever and she will come back just to cause trouble. Either that or the rumor that John Snider (late of "Smallville") will be on and her dead husband will be used as a way to resolve all of the Ellen/Jo stuff without them.
Of course right now a lot of people are much more worried about the NEW characters coming in.

Bobby is the heart of the Winchester boys. He keeps the boys in line when need be.
Now I am curious about season 4 and Bobby; what exactly happened to him at the end of Season 3 finale?
He better be back and hopefully in more episodes.

I'm just really glad that they brought Bobby back after season 1, rather than have him as a one-off character. And I'm glad that he sort of got his own episode in S3 (DaLDOM). When I saw him in S2, I was cheering inside.
His acting is always top-notch and the way he acts with the brothers is priceless at times (eg. 'Tall Tales'he had me in stitches just with his expressions). I hope he is back with a vengeance in S4. I just hope that the producers don't decide that he is disposable. The demon army has nothing on a mob of pissed-off fans.
There was a signature here, but it's gone now. -

You are absolutely right evilneverdies! They can't kill Bobby off. Ever.
Even though he is only a reoccuring character, he is so crucial to the boys. And are the boys going to ever need him next season!
