The whole album is pure golden. These 12 songs are amazing one by one. I can't choose just one. All of them have produced differents feelings on me.
Just to say some of these wonderful pieces of gold:
Sunday Sun (so amazing music)
It's all in your mind (I love his voice here)
Guess I'm doing fine
Already dead
Lost Cause
Lonesome Tears
Side of the road
Little One
and
Golden Age
Round the bend
End of the day
Paper Tiger
Somewhere along the line, the actions of this government are the actions of me.- Sean Penn

I Love Paper Tiger. I think it's the most creative track on the album. And I also Love the closing verse:
There's one road to the morning.
There's one road to the truth.
There's one road back to civilization.
But there's no road back to you.
Very sad.

I haven't listened to the whole CD yet, but every song that I've heard I've fallen in love with. The Golden Age is what got me hooked; I also really love Lonesome Tears, Guess I'm Doing Fine (my current favorite), and the under-mentioned End of the Day. Even though Guess I'm Doing Fine and The Golden Age have exactly the same guitar riffs, it really doesn't matter because they're both so beautiful.

Although I love the whole album (I'm still playing non-stop two weeks after buyng it) my favourite track has to be 'Paper Tiger'. Partly this is because I'm a huge fan of French singer songwriter Serge Gainsbourg who's track 'Melody' from his album 'Histoire de Mel16d0ody Nelson' is the backing track on 'Paper Tiger'. It's not the original track but it's a cover of it and works brilliantly with Beck's vocals over the top. I love 'Lonesome Tears' too, the strings are very similar to the Melody Nelson album as well.

Paper Tiger. I've changed my mind off of 'The Golden Age'. I love the climactic instrumental section, because the orchestra actually overpowers the electric guitar. Combine that with excellent drumming and you've got quite a sound.
